We provide activities that stimulate brain activity and mobility

Many older adults lose mobility due to conditions like stroke, severe arthritis or injuries from falls. There are many ways to have fun, boost mood and stay engaged while improving their mobility. Therefore we engage our residents in a variety of activities that will stimulate their brain activity and strengthening of their limbs.

Some of the activities include visiting the local park and gardening in our Zen Garden. By having close interaction with nature, it can contribute to reduction in stress and improve cognitive health.

Basic group physiotherapy is also conducted everyday by our trained caregivers for all residents to help increase their mobility and muscle strength.

Board games and Mahjong are good mental that stimuli and help promote brain activity. It also stimulates the immune system and can trigger the use of visualization, memory and sequencing skills.
